Lake, Sights of Thasos
The only lake in Thassos is located in the village of Maries. It is an artificial lake with dense vegetation. In the area there are gazebos and benches where you can relax. To reach the lake, follow the gravel road at the end of the village. The route is easy and the road is in good condition. Camping (and around the island), fishing and swimming in the lake are forbidden.
